Work outfits from the week...I was sick on Monday.
Tuesday - tried out Angie's suggestion of a black pencil skirt and denim shirt. This is not the denim shirt I bought recently...that shirt is more fitted and maybe would have looked better. When I tried this one on however, it just seemed to look better with the belt. I think the fitted shirt with the black belt looked sort of funny because I don't have much of a waist. After viewing these photos - the shirt looks a bit sloppy. I fixed the pearls after this too...hey, it was 6:30 a.m. You can't expect too much from me at that hour!
Black skirt - I can't remember the brand; Denim shirt - Coldwater Creek; lace cami - NY and Co; shoes - Madden Girl
Wednesday - brown Express pants, white cami, Express orange cardi, scarf, brown Mary Janes. I love this scarf and built the outfit around it.
Thursday - this photo was taken after work - sorry for the blinding SHINE!
Friday - you can really tell from the crappy photos, but this cardi is wine colored and I have a green cami under. Does it look funny with such a light colored skirt?
skirt - AT; cardi - Jacyln Smith...I KNOW........from K-Mart. I have had it in my closet for at least 6 years and this is the first time I am wearing it!

I have two skirts I am taking to the tailor for shortening...but I am not sure what length would be appropriate. I would like to wear them with boots this fall/winter. Most all my other skirts are right about mid-knee (thanks to an earlier forum post!). But since I would like to wear these with boots, I am am thinking they should be about mid-calf.
What do you think?

I got these boots last summer at a garage sale; are they suitably stylish or should I ditch the and find a new pair?
BTW - I am a "high heel wearer" so that isn't an issue!

I am not sure what to wear with this new shirt. I got it at the Saver's Labor Days Sale for $3.49. It was too cute to pass up. The length is mid-thigh.
any ideas???
